Report of last weeks's meeting

Marilyn toasted the Rotary E Club of Next Generation

Brad presented the Rotarian of the month to Brian Reith.

David Smith advised us that there is a donor willing to match money donated to the KIVA Project.

President related that Aub Tucker has had a triple bypass. We all wish Aub a speedy recovery.

Our Trailer Raffle has approximately $3700 in profit with one weekend to go.

Sergeant Les extracted hefty fines from all the guilty and the non guilty.

Our guest speaker was our Honorary Rotarian Mark McArdle who spoke on his recent experience in being diagnosed with prostate cancer.

He spoke about the initial diagnosis as he was symptom free and the importance of regular check ups. He also stressed that it was important to talk about it to our doctors and more particularly to our partners with reference to emotional issues. His was a very informative, well received and enlightening talk. Thanks Mark.

President Dan closed the meeting and reminded all to bring a gift for children at next week's Christmas Breakup Meeting.
