Report on Last Weeks meeting

Rotarian Marilyn proposed the International Toast to the Rotary Club of North Pole.

Rotarian Peter Asher delivered the Rotary Grace.

The Trailer Raffle was drawn and the winner was a deserving local family. Rotarian Stan will deliver the prize to an excited family.

Treasurer Mike Healy conducted the AGM. The audited financial report was passed unanimously.

Assistant District Governor Gordon Watson was proposed for District Governor for 2018-2019. His nomination was passed by acclamation.

President Dan thanked the golf club staff for all their efforts in looking after us this year.

President Dan announced the retirement from Rotary of Gary Robertson. His jovial presence will be sorely missed.

Rotarian Neville asked for our support for our outgoing exchange student Alana Berghoff. She will be at our meeting on 14th January and leaves from Brisbane Airport on Saturday  16th January at 2 pm. It would be great to have as many representatives from Caloundra Pacific there to she her off.

Past President Ross asked for expressions of interest for the next Solomons Islands workforce. This is in May from 14th for two weeks.We all congratulated Pat Lawton who celebrated her 90th birthday recently.ity 

Due to the generosity of members we raised $230 plus many toys to potentially help up to 1000 families thru Joel Archer's Hope Within Reach.
