Rotary Leadership Institute
Through PDG Tony Holmes I’ve arranged for a Rotary Leadership Institute course to be held here on the Sunshine Coast over 2 days - Sunday 1 November and 29 November. This sessions will start with registration at 8.30am for a 9am start and finish by 3.30pm and cost will be $20 per person per session which covers stationery, morning and afternoon teas and lunch.
I have 8 members from Mooloolaba attending and Tony has found 3 or so from Brisbane clubs so there is an opportunity for 4 or so Rotarians to join this informative and motivating 2 day seminar. Having done the course myself I can confidently say that any Rotarian of whatever level of experience will certainly gain some valuable insights into our Rotary world, and maybe even make some useful contacts.
The venue is nice and close at the office of the Sunshine Coast District Bowls Association, located in Cotton Tree beside the tennis and bowls clubs (through the car park off the end of Fifth Ave at the junction of Beach Parade).
