Vocational Service
This area of service promotes high ethical standards in business and professions, recognizes the worthiness of all useful occupations and fosters the ideal of service in the pursuit of all vocations. Vocational Service involves developing projects that help Rotary members contribute their skills to meet the needs of the community, both local and worldwide.

Rotarians are expected to conduct themselves and their workplace according to the Four-Way Test which is an integral part of Rotary’s mission statement. This Rotary year has the theme Rotary Serving Humanity so this should be evident in all our vocational activities.
Our committee will be planning for a Pride of Workmanship Award night where we will honour those brought to our attention who have been high achievers in their area of work.   It will be held at the Caloundra Golf Club, Charles Woodward Drive, Caloundra at a date to be advised.
We will select apprentices from the local workforce who will be recognised for their hard work and work ethics and outstanding achievements by their employer or the Apprenticeship Board.
Each month one Rotarian will receive a Rotarian of the Month Award, as recognition of outstanding service beyond self.
Also we hope to initiate a one minute Vocational Education segment at each meeting so members old and new can learn more about each other.
Vocational Visits are usually planned throughout the year.
