About Ann-Marie - Ann-Marie Loebel lives in Golden Beach and has been involved with Share the Dignity as a volunteer for the past 6 years, initially in Darwin and now on the Sunshine Coast. Ann-Marie’s professional background was in community service, primarily in education and training in disability services. Since retiring, Ann-Marie volunteers with a number of community organisations including Share the Dignity, Boomerang Bags, and at Burnside State High with the STEMM program (Supporting Teenagers with Education, Mothering and Mentoring), working with teenage mothers and pregnant girls to enable them to continue their education during pregnancy and after birth.

Ever wondered what happens when you hand over an old phone to DV Safephones - what happens next? Come and visit the operations centre on Thursday where the phones are fixed and processed ready for use by domestic violence victims, as their second "secret" safe phone. Ashton Wood started this operation several years ago and it is now supported Australia wide by a number of major businesses and organisations. $20 pp - this includes nibbles and drinks.
