Hello, I'm Kendall Hatcher, your State Member for Caloundra. As a former teacher, business-owner, community volunteer and proud mother of four, I am dedicated to protecting and enhancing what makes Caloundra so special for all of us. This community has given me life-changing opportunities, and I am dedicated and committed to a life of service, giving back to Caloundra. Over the last 17 years I have watched our community grow and change, but at the moment, we are facing crises in youth crime, housing, health and infrastructure. As our population grows, pressure on housing is increasing; there is more stress on our health system; and the cost-of-living continues to rise. At the same time, our roads are becoming more congested, and locals are more concerned for their family’s safety than ever before.
