Congratulations to Simone from Bororen, Qld.
Simone and husband were staying with relatives at Golden Beach, and visited Caloundra Markets early in November.
Initially they walked past the trailer, and after scouting around the markets, they came back again, and thought "Why Not?" and purchased some tickets, (from the lovely Malou), never thinking they would be the winners! It was more of a "donation" Simone said.
Simone was excited and somewhat shocked, when she received the phone call advising she was the lucky winner of the trailer and it's contents. She immediately said she would ask for time off to be able to come down to collect the trailer. (Her job required her to work during and after Christmas).
Simone advised that the goodies will be shared with her 4 children, twin 18 month old grand-daughters and other family members and friends. She and her husband were so excited to go through all the goodies, and still could not believe their luck. Everyone was asking what was in the trailer and will be excited to help unpack it all once they are home.
Rotary Club of Caloundra Pacific thank all those who supported this fund raiser, to do good both locally and internationally.
