Born in Sydney and raised in Brisbane, Sydney and Mooloolaba, Win attended schools in Brisbane and Sydney. He entered the Royal Military College at Duntroon, ACT, in 1963 and graduated in 1966. Typical of Army service, Win served in five states and territories of Australia, with a total of 21 postings through his 28 year career, including postings to USA, UK and South Vietnam. He was mainly involved in transport, trade training and logistics. He left the service with the rank of Colonel. In civilian life he ran buses for Brisbane Transport, an arm of Brisbane City Council, on Brisbane's southside for four years and later became a consultant in the areas of leadership, logistics and productivity. Invitation to tour USC Moreton Bay campus

Over the past 25 years, the RUSCCF has contributed more than $200,000 to support over 60 USC recipients with a Rotary Postgraduate Scholarship.

Teacher: "Kids, what does the chicken give you?"
Student: "Meat!"

Teacher: "Great! And what does the cow give you?"
Student: "Homework!"

A child asked his father, "How were people born?" So his father said, "Adam and Eve made babies, then their babies became adults and made babies, and so on." The child then went to his mother, asked her the same question and she told him, "We were monkeys then we evolved to become like we are now." The child ran back to his father and said, "You lied to me!" His father replied, "No, your mom was talking about her side of the family."
