Dinner at Cartwrights Restaurant at the Mountain Creek Campus was a fantastic evening - review by Peter Asher
We had 19 Rotarians attend including Steve and Gwen from the Nambour club, who just happen to know Ross being a fellow pilot but of course.
We had 5 courses of top class food starting with hors d’oeuvres all the way to petit fours to complete the evening. There was also a fine wine list at most reasonable prices.
Peter sent through a few photos of the evening which was a top night with much chatter and laughter.
He had the entrée of octopus followed by the beef cheek accompanied by vegetables and polenta, finishing up with a spicy poached pear very filling followed by petit fours served on a slate plate, very classy.
At the completion of the evening had quite a few people stating that they were very full.
Each table was given a review sheet to fill in to let the students know how they performed on the evening.
His table gave very positive feedback and we know that the TAFE is sending out very top Chefs into the world.
he heartily suggests that we make this a regular feature on the Rotary calendar each year.
For those who were unable to come book early next year.
Well done Mountain Creek TAFE College.
We have so enjoyed having Paula Boyd-Billings visit us again from the UK - thank you for all you have done to support our Trailer Raffle too, Paula!
