There was no Club Meeting on 8th October as we were all busy getting ready for the Big Golf Day event on the next day, 9th October!

Just a brief overview for those of you who were not able to attend and are not on Facebook. Supporting Steps and LifeFlight
Competitors started arriving about 10.30 to register for this major event, buy some raffle tickets then have some energy food to set them up for a big afternoon.
The weather was kind to us, mostly sunny and some cloud cover but no rain!
A big thank you to the 28 teams competing, we so appreciate your support.
Winning team on the day was Shadforth Civil Engineering team of Benn, Keith, Shane and Dan with a net score of 51.
Most successful golfer was Alyssa Pepper who was in the runner-up team and also won Ladies longest drive and Nearest the Pin on the 2nd and 11th hole.
After the last players came in about 4.30, everyone gathered around tables to relax and see who had won what and also to see if they had won a raffle prize. There was also some build up to see who would win the Auction Prizes.
A big thank you to Tony Long and his support team for organising such an awesome, successful fund raiser, again!
