Recognising the “Rotary Club of Semin yak”.
Charted 14/5/2002 and is one of the major speaking Clubs in Bali. Most of the Rotarians are expats representing 12 nationalities. Many are employed in the tourist sector but also in finance, education, and jewellry, to name but a few. Some of the projects this Club has been involved with over the years are Food Distribution to the needy, Student Scholarships, building classrooms, Libraries, school toilets, and Clean Water projects. The members meet every Wednesday at the Tran Resort Bali in Semin yak and we were lucky to attend a meeting back in 2015 for Dinner. They were a very engaged and welcoming Club and we walked away with a different outlook of Bali.
Barb awarded Rotarian of the month – Graeme Bowden
Exemplary in selling tickets in trailer raffle.
