14 May Rotary
Keeping in Touch - 14th May, 2022
No meetings to report on but here are some dates for your diary -
25th May - RYDA Training Session - for those volunteering at RYDA this year, please contact Geoff Leddy for details re training.
2nd June - The Clubs focus is now on the ROMAC Trivia night coming up soon.  We usually get about 300 excited people attending, lets see if we can break the record this year!   Peter Hovey is again MC on the night, he is such an expert at it now too!  Greig needs our tables of 8 sent in to him and paid for by 24th May.
Help us support Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children - come and have a fun night.
3rd June - We are also supporting the CCSA Hall Morning Tea, fundraising to help those affected by cancer. All seats have been filled for this, BUT Greig has two tickets available, first in best dressed!  Hopefully, no masks this year either.

30th June - Before we know it we will have a new President, Frank Lunt - changeover night will not be at Parklands Tavern, as it can't cater for the number expected to attend - but we'll keep you informed.

2022 - 2023 - Events
27th August - CIRRUS AIRCRAFT WEST END TO BROADWAY IN THE HANGAR - tickets already on sale and some early birds are already booked!   Price includes food by Sunny Rays and licensed bar.   Although the thunderstorm added a certain atmosphere to last years Freddie Mercury song, let's hope that this year we have fine, mild weather - so dress up and come along and enjoy.  We have 8 sponsors who have donated money and 9 other sponsors who have donated items for our Raffle.
Get your tickets, choose your seats -
2nd October - Our Annual Ian Baker Finch Golf Day is at The Caloundra Golf Club;  it will be great to go back there again. Ross Harrison is again doing the Golf  Ball drop - that in itself is worth watching! Tony Long is well organised with sponsorships, so again it will be a great event to look forward to.
