Clive Seymour opened the Meeting with about 40 people, including family members in attendance.

Greig Lee-Archer toasted the Rotary Club of Cauayan in the Philippines, with which we hope to form a sister-club partnership.

President Peter Asher awarded long-term Calpac member, Neville Woodforth, a well-deserved Paul Harris Fellowship award for his outstanding work with RYDA.   Neville expressed his gratitude and thanked the many team members who make the project so valuable for students earning their L-Pates and learning to drive.

Ross gave a special presentation on the work he and his International team have been undertaking over the past months in the Philippines.

Their projects included building and painting school classrooms, supporting the laboratory programme (similar to our School of the Air), improving the Day Care Centre kitchen and installing a new well and connecting its water supply to the teachers' accommodation.

Malou emphasised the importance of these projects because they show the isolated communities that they have not been forgotten.
Malou, Mumma Malou, is well loved and respected by the locals.

Ross and Malou were each awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship for their outstanding work on these projects - hours of planning, blood, sweat & tears.

Tony Long has 30 teams registered, the most we have every had and preparations are well on track for a very successful event, fundraising for LifeFlight.

Will Waterford conducted the Sergeants session with help from Mark Paton - a serious job!

Eve ran Riki Tiki - Amanda Innes you will need to come back to run the next one, as you were the winner tonight!

Les conducted the raffle and Clive closed the meeting at 8 pm, on the dot!
