President's Message

The warm days of the approaching season of spring are certainly welcome. Last week we had Evelyn step up to the podium to fill in for the role as guest speaker. Evelyn talked to us about her container business and her life leading up to it. Thank-you Evelyn for sharing your life and business with us. This week we have Angela Miles talking to us from RACQ Carelight. Angela is the relationship manager of RACQ Careflight for the North Coast and also winner of the Sunshine Coast Professional Business Woman of the Year 2015. With partners night on as well, this Thursday should be a good night.

The golf day is starting to ramp up, and we have more than half the players required for a successful day. If you know any potential sponsors or players please let Tony Long know. The Ian Baker Finch Charity Golf Day is Friday the 16th of October!

Ken is pushing the Centurion Club to all members. The Centurion project of donating $100 to the Rotary Foundation encourages Rotarian's to support our own charity and its work throughout the world.

Ross was delighted to tell us of the club's plans for a Progress Dinner on the 3rd of December. If you are interested in being involved please talk to Ross in the next several weeks.

Finally, next week we are at Nexberg, the manufacturers of Evakool eskies. We are having a BBQ there at a normal price of $25 per head and includes drinks. Allan from Nexberg will give us a tour of their plant and equipment. See you there at 6pm for 6:30pm start.
