Welcome to another Rotary Bulletin.

We were delighted to have Joe Podosky last week discussing entry back into the workforce and future-proofing our careers. Joe has had a successful career and now focuses on his consultancy business, 2nd Act, aimed at mature aged professionals. This week we will have Mr Sullivan, CEO of the Sunshine Coast Turf Club talk to us about his career and the racing industry.

A reminder that this month's partner night is on the 25th of September at the RACQ Careflight hangar at the Sunshine Coast airport. The vocational visit will cost only $20 per a head and includes all drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Please invite all family, friends, neighbours and business colleagues to help share the great work RACQ Careflight is doing for our community. I will also invite all golf day sponsors! Numbers will be required by Wednesday.

The Ian Baker Finch Charity Golf Day is coming along, however we still need at least 5 more sponsors. Again if you know of any potential sponsor please inform Tony or myself. If you do not feel comfortable approaching a potential sponsor, we will do it for you.

Please keep in your thoughts Sylvia Hovey and her family, after her mum, Kate Heim, passed away this last week.

Your in Rotary,

Dan
