President's Message

Last week Tony went through the event management plan for the Ian Baker Finch Charity Golf Day on this Friday. We are still looking for sponsors, donations, raffle prizes and auction items - if you can help out please email or call Tony immediately. Tony and his team have done an excellent job and Friday is sure to be incredible.

This week's meeting is being held at the Caloundra State High School. We have 34 places available and I kindly request all members to notify me of your attendance as soon as possible. First in, best dressed. This year the Board decided that we will not be involved with the Caloundra Music Festival or the Carols on Kings. Unfortunately the benefit to cost ratio did not support these events.

In the absence of Carols on Kings this year, I would like to suggest that we support another community event during Christmas. If you have any suggestions please let me know.

I would like everyone's opinions that the beneficiary for this year's trailer raffle should be Joel Archer's 'Hope Within Reach' charity for the homeless. Joel's work is incredible and we should continue to support him so he can keep up his good work.
