Tom Hanks stars in Steven Spielberg’s BRIDGE OF SPIES, which is the story of James Donovan, an attorney who finds himself thrust into the centre of the Cold War when the CIA sends him on the near-impossible mission to renegotiate the release of a captured American U-2 pilot. BRIDGE OF SPIES is a must see thriller inspired by true historic events.
Last year’s Polio Plus movie night was a financial and social success raising nearly $50,000 (with the Gates Foundation Funds )
R I have been approached to supply a short presentation on Polio Plus which can be show as a trailer prior to the movie.
Join with local Rotary Clubs, contact your local cinema and arrange a special screening on Wednesday 21st October.
Rotary and its partners are winning the fight against polio. It is now over 12 months since the last recorded case of paralytic polio in Nigeria ( Nigeria’s last recorded case of paralytic Polio (WPV1) - 24 June 2014). Subnational vaccination days are planned for September 5 and October 17 using trivalent  tOPV. In Pakistan the number of new cases  Polio year to date is 29 compared with 117 year to date in 2014.
