Ashley and I have just returned from overseas where we were chaperones for students departing Australia.  I wish to advise that all students have arrived safely with only a couple of mishaps this year.  Hannah’s luggage did not leave Australia and she only received it several days after arriving in Moscow, Idaho and Pieter’s plane from Frankfurt to Bremen was cancelled due to ice on the runway.  Pieter and another student had to take two trains to arrive at their host towns.    All the students should have been in contact by now to advise that they arrived safely.

Ashley and I were lucky enough to catch up with Pieter and Kate in Germany on our trip and even ten days in they are having a great time and are both happy with their host families and clubs.  We have just had the graduation for the rebound students 2015 at which a Rotex student Elena Peden advised that she also caught up with Chelsea in Austria while visiting her host families.

As you all know the Youth Exchange Program is a very full program with many things always happening.  I wish to advise that I have already received three applications for our next group of inbound students due to arrive in July 2016.  We are now looking to allocate these students to clubs.  I still have many clubs who have not given the YEP Committee any indication as to the preference for their new inbound student.
