Last year, three employees from Workplace Central attended a Rotary function and from that moment they all wanted Workplace Central to be a part of it....

The Rotary Club of Caloundra Pacific worked hard to make us the first corporate member and for that, we sincerely thank you.
The values of Rotary align with our personal values, and the focus on service and community support our corporate commitment.
At present, Tatiana Porter, CEO of Workplace Central is a member and Stephanie Day, Tania Cherry, Denise Billsborough and Ben Haycroft are Friends of Rotary.  Here are some of their thoughts:

When I first opened the Rotary Handbook I was moved : It's a humanitarian organisation, promoting high ethical standards in all vocations, and fostering global goodwill.  These are mighty ideals and they are reflected in each Rotary gathering, along with the fellowship.  The focus on serving others is a wonderful contrast to many things happening in the world around us, and I am conscious of this in all that I do.  As individuals we can all contribute, but as a collective we can make much greater change. I hope that we are the first of many Corporate Members in the region.

Each week I am excited about attending the rotary club dinner, to hear stories of members pasts and also what they are involved in now. The feeling I get hearing the stories of rotary assisting with children and the disadvantaged makes me want to be a better person and do anything I can to help. As a society there is so much negativity in the world, I truly believe that if everyone lived by Rotary’s values and beliefs the world would be a much better place. It has been an honour being a “friend of rotary”, we have been welcomed with open arms and I am humbled to be part of a group with such comradery and respect for others.

I am overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of the Rotarians at the Rotary Club of  Caloundra Pacific.  Every week I hear a new story about a worthy cause or charity that they are assisting or supporting.  The impact they have in the Sunshine Coast community is far reaching.  This weekend I was with them as they supported the Cancer Council’s Relay for Life event at the Sunshine Coast University, cooking breakfast for very grateful participants who had spent the previous 18hours walking to raise funds for cancer research.
