The Rotary Club of Caloundra Pacific recogonises its membership of a world wide organisation by undertaking a number of activities and service projects.  We recognise that the demand for humanitarian assistance will always exceed our capacity to respond, so we try to emphasise low cost projects with high quality-of-life payoffs for as many overseas recipients as possible.

• Rotary Club of Caloundra Pacific is the sponsor for RAWCS (Rotary Australia World Community Service) Project #69-2018-19 Sexual Health Education by Pictures. This complete teaching program has 5 PowerPoint Presentations: Anatomy, Family Planning and STIs (2) and A3 posters.
• Through Rotary connections it is taught in schools and communities in the developing world and distributed as a free dropbox link. Since 2012 the Project Managers have developed SHEP while teaching in schools, communities and health centres in Kenya, Timor Leste, the Philippines and Papua New Guinea. Shirl and John Hayes gave a talk at the Rotary International Convention in Hamburg in 2019 and SHEP was given to 183 Rotarians via a dropbox link. Rotarians in Nigeria, Tanzania and Uganda now teach the program.
