Hospital PJs – Working Together, Amanda Clayton
Mar 26, 2026 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

HospitalPJs.com was founded by Amanda after her daughter, Sophie, suffered a stroke at just four years old and became a frequent patient at the Mater Children’s Hospital. Inspired by the challenges of hospital life, especially the difficulty of dressing a child connected to medical equipment, Amanda began designing bright, hospital-friendly pyjamas that were both practical and uplifting.

What started as a way to bring comfort to Sophie soon grew into a mission to support other children and families during hospital stays. The pyjamas are now donated free of charge, thanks to generous sponsors.

Today, Sophie is 20 and at university, working alongside Amanda to raise $100,000 in honour of Queensland Children’s Hospital’s 10th birthday—continuing their commitment to bringing dignity, colour, and comfort to children in care.

Club Meeting - Kendall Hatcher MP
May 28, 2026 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Hello, I'm Kendall Hatcher, your State Member for Caloundra.

As a former teacher, business-owner, community volunteer and proud mother of four, I am dedicated to protecting and enhancing what makes Caloundra so special for all of us.

This community has given me life-changing opportunities, and I am dedicated and committed to a life of service, giving back to Caloundra.

Over the last 17 years I have watched our community grow and change, but at the moment, we are facing crises in youth crime, housing, health and infrastructure.

As our population grows, pressure on housing is increasing; there is more stress on our health system; and the cost-of-living continues to rise.

At the same time, our roads are becoming more congested, and locals are more concerned for their family’s safety than ever before.
